Engine Management
Engine Management in Crook, County Durham - Boam Automotive Engineering
What do I do if my engine management light comes on?
The engine management light may come on when you turn on the ignition but should then immediately go back off. It’s connected to your vehicle’s engine control unit (ECU) and is often the first indicator that there’s a problem in one of the many systems within the vehicle.
If the engine management light doesn’t go off, the only thing you can really do to find out what’s causing this is to come into Boam Automotive Engineering. We have state-of-the-art equipment at our workshop in Crook, County Durham, which connects to your vehicle’s ECU and helps us to pinpoint exactly what the problem is, that way we can get it sorted for you quickly, and accurately. Once the fault has been repaired, we reset the ECU so that the engine management light goes off.
As an RAC Approved Garage, Boam Automotive Engineering is also proud to be affiliated with other leading motoring organisations, such as the IMI. We have advantageous associations with suppliers like 1link and are pleased to offer customers payment plans that spread garage bills interest-free through Payment Assist or Service Split.
